Queen - Live At Wembley - Part 01 (01/14)

12.07.1986, London (Wembley Stadium), England.

Probably the most famous Queen concert, they deliver an overall amazing show, playing their classic songs and they got a rowdy crowd on top of it all! The setlist was quite special (Queen played ‘Gimme Some Lovin’ or ‘Big Spender’ only scarcely) and there were even rumours about David Bowie’s appearance for ‘Under Pressure’ but that unfortunately didn’t happen.
Brian May said of the concert, “The Wembley concerts in 1986 were the pinnacle for us. We were at our height band-wise, and Freddie had developed this phenomenal way of dealing with stadium audiences. Being back home in London playing two sell-out nights was such a big, big occasion for us. None of us realized that this would be almost the last time we played together.” The band played only two more UK concert dates together.

Ragazzi una volta ho sognato che prendevo lezioni di canto dal maestro Freddie Mercury.Alla fine di questo folle sogno,lui mi cantava somebody to love al piano ed un pezzo improvvisato che non esiste nè nell’intera discografia,nè nelle rarità.Qualcosa di urdo!La mattina mi svegliai contentissimo e andai a comprarmi il Live At the Bowl che allora era appena uscito.Ciao^^
