Then why do all the Illegal Mexicans clog the Emergency Rooms of our hospitals? They have closed down many hospitals throughout the southwest. Seems to me that you want your cake and eat it too. Free Health Care and not have to pay for it. However, get the Gov. out of your life. Wouldn’t be surprized if you’re on Welfare.

And anyway, if you have an emergency in the US just get yourself a second driver’s license and social security number. The illegals have been aloud to do it for decades so why not have the Americans do it? Apparently our government thinks it is OK since they never enforce any of the laws on the books. So just get with the times and you won’t need health care reform at all.

And yes, most of my family is foreign educated, yes I go to foreign countries for medical and dental and prescriptions including mexico. Yes I am a member of the British NHS and yes I use it. and Yes I buy most of my stuff from China, and yes my wife is currently in a different country being educated as a nurse to eventually come back here to work as a nurse. I did not create the global world but this is the reality of life now and this government has ignored too many problems for far to long.

I already found a …
I already found a health care solution a decade ago. Mexico, Canada and the EU. It’s cheap enough to pay cash (even less that buying insurance), it’s good quality and I don’t have to deal with the US Government or a private insurance company. I and my family just do our own little NAFTA thing since our government seems to think NAFTA and CAFTA and insucure borders are good for us.

I don’t listen to Rush, I’m not republican and Medicare is bankrupt. In addition, you have to carry private supplimental insurance along with medicare as medicare is basically useless for anything serious and does not cover a list of things even though these things might be necessary. I am not an advocate for privatized insurance as well. I do not carry private insurance as I do not support insurance companies. I just do not want this socialist Government any her in my life.

Watch for a recreation of the “shell game” when congress gets back in session that will be used to redirect the focus on this issue elsewhere.
Those pushing this agenda are bent on gaining more control over Americans and with Obama already having commented that this legislation will move forward whether it’s supported on the other side of the aisle or not only points up his obvious arrogance.
The libs definitely won the last round of elections but wait and see what happens in the next round

Americans are the only people I know who willingly vote and protest…against their self-interest. Most people at those townhall meetings would benefit greatly from a public option but their complete ignorance makes them fight to keep the “freedom” of being ripped off by big pharma and the health insurance industry. Somewhere top executives from those industries, with their multi-million dollar salaries, are watching this and laughing their heads off as those they exploit actually defend them.

Wow, the opposition to this legislation is overwhelming on a national scale and all the proponents seem capable of doing is calling the opposition racist, Un-American and uneducated tools of the Rep. party or some other phantom group.

The reality of this all is that as as has already been mentioned is the American public has finally had enough meddling by the government coupled with the common perception that big government has never succeeded in managing anything in the past.

No, they don’t know what they’re protesting about, as you can see by the fact that they reckon this is socialism or communism. What’s a grass roots protestor? Sounds like someone who just likes to protest, whatever the issue.

It’s simple: don’t go to town halls and start chanting. The arrogance it takes to be so certain that you’re correct, that you won’t even listen to the opposition…well, I wish I could say that’s unbelievable, but it’s not.
