Measuring for Window Shutter Installation
When it comes to installing interior window shutters, the first step is to figure out the dimensions of the windows. So you want to measure the window open and where are your shutters will be positioned.
You want to measure from inside the window opening preferably. You’ll need the measurement from the inside of the window frame for both width and height. This will allow a more seamless installation than if you were to mount them on the outside of the window sill.
Additionally, you won’t require more hardware such as frame strips or hanging strips - you simply need to make sure the window jamb is perfectly square and uniform.
