  2. Yep, just amazing.. …
Yep, just amazing..are you going to go and see him in London in Nov? Other stuff, Jarvis, of course… but thought the audience were terrible, I think everyone was too chilled after Bon Ivor. Saw him having breakfast yesterday morning and he’s not nearly as tall as one thinks! Oh, and Wooden Shjips, Jonny and Richard James. Spent most of my time at the Far Out stage and in the Chai tent! What about you?

  3. Yeh, I’ve never …
Yeh, I’ve never felt so much in awe of a performer! And such a good whistler too! Likewise, got scorned for missing Bon Iver, but I think twas worth it.

Anyone else impress you at the festival?

  4. Oh wow! Wasn’t that …
Oh wow! Wasn’t that just the best gig of the whole weekend? Just so lovely and intimate. I was scorned at for not staying to see Bon Ivor…

Yeh - just saw him at Green Man too - he was amazing!

  6. Just seen him at …
Just seen him at Green Man. Totally blew me away - I cried. Can’t stop listening to this track and the new CD. A very rare man indeed…oh dear, think I have fallen in love….he has just knocked Stephen Fry and Ryan Adams off my ‘to have to dinner’ list… And I’m sorry, but Tori Amos is just a plagiarist of Kate Bush….nothing original there…and I hate that vague airy fairy way she talks…a fine head of hair though.

  7. He s the violin …
He s the violin like Tori Amos s the piano. This was perhaps the coolest violin performance I have EVER seen. I am sold. One song, and I madly love this man! Truly beautiful.

  8. i know exactly what …
i know exactly what you mean cause i was at that concert. I had listened to him for awhile before seeing the show but when you see him live its like you really are hearing it for the first time because everything he plays live is different. This song is just a perfect example of how he can play his music live so naturally it gives you chills

    Well, In the other …
Well, In the other recordings where he;s playing this tune live, he’s alone. It seems like it’d be tough for Dosh to keep time if Andrew Bird’s screwing around the time like that.
