What are good theatre games for high school?

well i have to have a theatre game ready that hasn’t been played before. and not one of the ones on the first website that comes up when you search on google. and it has to be FUN. So if anyone can help me, that would be super awesome. if anyone has some original ideas, let me know. thanks!

I’m not sure what you’re counting as already existing games, as in many cases a lot of the same have been made up in completely unrelated instances, but here are a couple of my favorites that aren’t too widely known.

"Why Are You Late?" - There’s three people participating at once. Two people are sitting on the stage in chairs facing each other. One is "the boss" and the other is "the employee". The third person will stand in front of the "employee" (behind the boss’s back). The "boss" will prompt with "Why are you late?"
The third person will start to mime out actions, and the "employee" will say whatever the person is miming, or rather whatever they can make from it, to form a story.
The goal is on the spot improv, and trying to make the most ridiculous things sound convincing. The boss cuts in whenever they feel it’s gone on enough, and decides whether or not to fire the employee.

"Family Of Serious" - it’s much like "Honey, I Love You" but has its own air. Everyone stands in a circle, and says "We are the family of serious. We do not laugh, we do not smile."
The group leader will start off by saying "Sister/Brother (name of someone in the circle, eg. John) Please perform for us (an action, eg. the dance of the hukkawukka tribe, or the art of laying an egg)"
John will then have to perform said action around the circle, and anyone who laughs is out. Then John will go back to his spot, and everyone repeats "we are the family of serious. We do not laugh, we do not smile." Then John will say "Sister/Brother (name), please perform for us…" and so forth, until everyone is out. It’s a test of self control in the form of not laughing.

Hope this helped!
