    Agreed. I hate everyone my age who just calls any dumb that writes a (good by their standards) song a music genius. Most of the musicians today will be forgotten soon enough, but the Beatles will be remembered far, far longer.

    Nothing on the horizon past or present that can come close to the song-writing machine of Lennon/McCartney and the band’s chemistry and delivery. There were other great bands during their time and after… but The Beatles truly owned it in their time and in certain respects still own it today because of the song writing and the group’s chemistry in its entireties disregarding skill on instruments. The Beatles are legendary; Regardless of bias/musical genre. This is a Vanessa-Approved Reply.
