I’d also thought it was by Boney M, but I did some research, n it’s true THIS SONG IS NOT SUNG BY BONEY M.BUT BY ERUPTION “…It was followed by their 2nd album titled Leave a Light launched towards the end of 1978. The first single of the album “I’ll Keep a Light in My Window” could not do as well as expected. Fortunately, the second single, “One Way Ticket” (cover of Neil Sedaka’s song), restored them at the top of the charts (a UK # 9 hit). The song is often mistaken for a Boney M. record.

@gigantor62: Absolutely agree! Though I myself am from this so called gen “y” (born in early 80s) but I love these and even older songs. What youtube has done is brought all ages to one platform. And that really es me off when teenagers, 14-15 year olds, comment on ANY THING.

They think “nobody understands them and their life is and whatever they like is cool”, LOL!
