News-Michael Jackson delay / change opening tour dates !!!
Dear Customer
This afternoon Michael Jackson show producers will be announcing the rescheduling and change of the opening shows in order to meet the challenges presented by such a large and technically complex concert.
Please allow us to apologise for this inconvenience. It was not an easy decision to change the schedule but in the end we wanted to ensure that all of Michael’s fans attending the concerts get the same quality in staging and level of entertainment.
We are writing to let you know that the 8th July concert that you purchased tickets for at the O2 arena is now scheduled for 13th July 2009. The tickets you receive will be printed with the rescheduled date and you will have the same seat originally purchased. You do not have to do anything as you will be automatically allocated the same seats and moved to the revised date.
If you cannot attend the revised date please contact us no later than the 19th June 2009 to obtain a full refund at Michaeljackson@Ticketmaster.co.uk or via the Michael Jackson Customer Support line on 0844 277 9982.
Please note due to the timeline involved in rescheduling this show your tickets will now be dispatched after the 19th of June.
Thank you for your understanding. Michael, who is directly involved with all aspects of the styling/choreography/band selection and rehearsals, is working around the clock to ensure this is the show to end all shows! We look forward to seeing you on 13 July.

The only dates that is moved is :
8th July will take place on 13th July 2009
10th July will be moved to 1st March 2010
12th July will be moved to 3rd March 2010
14th July will be moved to 6th March 2010
So noo worries in Sept and August;)

whats the point in that, why not just put the shows in between the others? he’s only doing a show every 2 days anyway, he might as well just put the show between, and do a show everyday to catch up!
that’s a sensible thing to do!
and besides, why march anyway? the full tour ends in February, and the first leg ends in September, whats wrong with the end of Sep? or Oct? or Nov?

but whats the 10th, and 12 delayed to?
and whatever day those are delayed to.. they have to delay the next days as well

These things can happen and unfortunately we can not do anything about it… When I booked the hotel I payed £1 extra insurance which allowed you to cancell uptil 12am that day of arriving, which I thought was worth doing..Hope it all turns out ok for all fans…
