I think you can find out any such information at their website. I found that I didn’t pay more than 10€ in Europe for any tours on a recent trip (that would be about 6.5 £). But when I was in London, many years ago, one could only go into the Queen’s Gallery, not the palace itself. (Art gallery).

I’m not sure if that has changed.

You’ll find some information on this website: http://www.royalcollection.org.uk/default.asp?action=article&ID=30 Tours are self-guided and fees are 17pounds for adults, 15.50pounds for students, and this includes an audio guide.. Don’t know about refreshments or dress code.
