What Is A Chicken Ark?
A chicken ark is like a portable chicken coop that can be moved daily to accommodate free range chickens eating habits. Like the chicken coop, the ark has shelves layered with hay on which the chickens can sleep and lay their eggs. It has a wood floor that is not anchored in one place but acts as a platform for the ark which is a small building
The ark has a door that opens onto what looks like a fenced in wire porch without a floor. When the ark is moved from one place to another this porch offers a new place for the chickens to feed. The ark houses the chickens and protects them from predators as well as giving them a new supply of grass everyday.
