   I don’t think you understand the comedic situation at hand. Politicians are people who run our very everyday lives. We trust them to be authorative, careful and in control. But the funny part is that he’s human, like us. He makes mistakes and his intellect is most certainly lower than some of the ‘common’ public. If he wishes to be higher, he should show control at the most vital time: when he knows his people are attentive towards him. But he doesn’t. He makes idiotic, careless mistakes. Funny!

   Comics making cheap jokes about politics, and people actually paying attention to them, are a strong sign of the demise of our Repubic, quite frankly. I think humor when it comes to leaders is essential, but not ridicule or cheap laughs. Also, the evident smartness of comedians (and their comedy writers) only applies so far, and should be limited in the realm of real world politics. I speak as someone who applauds the election of the new Minnesota Senator Al Franken. Why do we Americans go 4 it?

   I agree, the left right hand thing and the slip are ridiculous things to call someone stupid over. They are just mistakes and everyone did know what he meant. Though other things like the spiting and deliberate etiquette faux par are idiotic. Its those sorts of things that should be in the lost not slips and head bangs that everyone would make. No matter how much you hate say Tony Blair. He would NEVER spit and do all that stuff Bush thinks is ok….

The top ten stupid moments in David Letterman’s on camera life, are when he hits on young starlets publicly, and they squash him like a bug. Oh, sorry, there would be more than 100 of those stupid public on camera moments, now, wouldn’t there be? Hilarious. You Loser.

    I agree Obama does look like Jesus after Bush, but I have to honestly say, I don’t dislike Obama because he is not Mccain or Republican, I dislike Obama because hes shady. This is the guy who just slipped in the largest energy bill in the history of the united states at 3AM the morning the day after Jackson died so it wasnt in the media, the bill will be affective after hes reelected, they tried to do a filibuster but it was done legally sounds shady- like someone is hiding something.
