What Is The Best Venue to See the Boston Music Scene?

What Is The Best Venue to See the Local Boston Music Scene? Any suggestions on places to check out would be greatly appreciated. Places that have more "Acoustic-ish" music are on the top of my list to find but I want a list of a bunch of places if possible.

Thanks in Advance

-Matt

The best way to find out what’s happening is to get one of the free magazines around town, such as The Improper Bostonian, The Phoenix, or Stuff@night.

I like:
Club Passim in Cambridge (long-time folk hangout)
TT The Bear’s in Cambridge
The Middle East in Cambridge
The Paradise in Allston
Berklee School of Music in Boston (great school, great music)
